World Suicide Prevention Day 10th September
On 10 September, we mark World Suicide Prevention Day, a time to raise awareness, encourage conversations, and promote support for those affected by suicide.
This year’s Lincolnshire Suicide Prevention Conference on 16 September embraces the theme of Livability, reflecting the global campaign “Changing the Narrative on Suicide.” The focus is on what helps people live well, stay connected, find hope, and access support when they need it.
This approach closely aligns with LUMHR’s themes Prevent, which explores how research can support mental health and wellbeing. Connect which explores how to improve access to support, and Respond, strengthening responses to crises across Lincolnshire’s communities.
Dave and Nima from LUMHR team will be presenting at the conference and contributing to these important conversations. Thank you to Shine Lincolnshire Charity and Preventing Suicide in Lincolnshire
